Change request lifecycle

Select any step to inspect ownership and controls
START · Signed contract — CU + BA execute; PM preserves the agreed baseline.
END · Closed & handed over — PM delivers final records to CU; SU, DE and TS provide applicable as-builts and warranty information. When selected for a new home, RS signs off the complete change register before closing.

Persona key

Color identifies lead ownership. Codes preserve meaning without color.

Exception routes

Revision, decline or expiry

CU + PM: Revisions return to estimating; declined or withdrawn requests close with a recorded decision. ES + TS + SU: Revalidate expired pricing, availability and schedule before approval.

Additional or concealed scope

SU + TS + DE: Report and document the condition. PM: Open a linked request, assess affected work, and return to intake. Review existing utilities, structural interfaces and household disruption for remodels and additions.

Urgent protective action

SU: Coordinate protective action under the contract’s applicable process. PM: Document and notify CU + BA. DE + TS + ES: Assess and price resulting scope for approval.

NON-NEGOTIABLE CONTROLRequest submission does not authorize work. Customer approval, construction release and optional RS closing sign-off are separate events. RS closing review does not replace required CU + BA change-order authorization. The signed contract governs authority, notices, payments and release requirements.
